From November 18 to 26, 2011 the “Rencontres Internationales Paris/Berlin/Madrid” will create a space of discovery and reflection between new cinema and contemporary art in Paris, at the Haus der Kulturen der Welt
In the presence of artists and filmmakers from all over the world, this rare event will propose an international programme of film, video, multimedia. It includes It includes 25 screenings, an out of town day with the visit of several exhibitions through the Ile-de-France Region, a cycle of debates and panel discussions.
DEBATES / FORUM
The Rencontres Internationales invites filmmakers, curators, artistic directors and programmers from European and extra-European national museums, contemporary art centres and biennales in contemporary cinema, video and new media. The debates aim to further analyze the concerns and leads in each country, in order to discuss this creation and accompany it, as much from a critical point of view, than from the point of view of the public and the artists.
